About AsíSeHace.net
AsíSeHace.net has been created by José Picardo, Head of Foreign Modern Languages at Nottingham High School, and is intended to help GCSE and A Level students of Spanish practise their vocabulary and grammatical understanding through interactive exercises.
AsíSeHace.net does not follow a particular textbook but instead it is divided into the topics outlined by current British examination boards. Although this website has been devised with GCSE and A Level in mind, it will, of course, be useful to anyone learning Spanish, whether you are in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.
AsíSeHace.net is a work in progress and new exercises are added regularly. All the exercises contained within this website have been created by José Picardo in his spare time (mainly weekends and half-term holidays!) using freely available software and sources from the internet. See Acknowledgements below.
AsíSeHace.net is free and will always be free to use.
Please feel free to use the Contact Form to get in touch with us to pass on any feedback about this website. Your views are always welcome.

This website would not be possible without some fantastic freely available software, so many thanks to all those who have developed the programmes used to create AsíSeHace.net.
For the interactive exercises, I have mostly used the Hot Potatoes software created by UVic Humanities Computing and Media Centre and Half-Baked Software. I have also used the Game Makers produced by Languagesonline (Department of Education of the state of Victoria, Australia), as well as some Spellmaster games.
Most of the photographs used in this website have been sourced from stock.xchng, from Flickr, from Uvic’s Language Teaching Clipart Library and from the Australian Languagesonline language clipart library.
My main sources for texts and videos are elpais.com, elmundo.es, Televisión Española (TVE) and YouTube.
All materials used have been acknowledged accordingly. Should any of the materials in this website infringe any copyright law, please get in touch via the Contact page and they will be removed immediately.
