Los verbos de Jonathan

Jonathan, in Year 10, has produced this slideshow to help him revise his verbs. Una idea muy buena, gracias Jonathan!

Remember you can also revise reflexive (me levanto) and stem changing verbs (juego) if you download these podcasts. There are also some interactive exercises in this section of AsíSeHace.net.

El pasado perfecto

Watch this presentation explaining how to do the past perfect in Spanish. Don’t forget to turn the volume up and use the full screen mode!

Imperfect vs Preterite

This video is designed to help you understand when to use the Imperfect (setting the scene, recounting an event or things that used to happen) and when to use the Preterite (single events in the past, what happened next).

For GCSE level, the key is to remember that the Imperfect sets the scene and the Preterite tells you what happened next.

Watch the video and make a list all the verbs in the imperfect and in the preterite.

Watch it again and write down as many sentences as you can remember.

Cry me a verb

¡Hasta luego!

Conjugating -AR verbs: the video
